The holidayhome Boccaccio it is situated in optimal position both by the point of view of the tranquillity of the zone and by that of practical moving through the city: by Fiesole, the most beautiful and famous hill around Florence, and by the headline of a bus that connects you directly with the historical centre of Florence in 10 minutes only, and that brings you back home evenings.
The environs are of great landscape and cultural suggestion, as described below; to notice also the absence of traffic at all and easy parking.
Disposable rooms are 3 (2 of which are true mini-suite) : big, large, high, with private bathroom and personal fridge, television and microwave; ceilings are all originally painted with frescos of the beginning of the century and are able to accommodate single persons, couples or an entire family (the triple room in fact can comfortably lodge till 5/6 persons).
The prices (you can read them exactly by the voice “prices” here in the web-site) can be light modified only by very high season, and in any case they will be communicated to you exactly at the moment of your contact.To notice anyway that you will get discounts in case of long sojourns and for children.
Particular services are not given, only:
light Italian breakfast ( included in total price);
conventions with restaurants nearby;
television, ventilator/heating, fridge and microwave inside room.
Our home is a small villa situated in one of the first residential district once said “fuori le mura” (that is to say “out of the walls” ) of Florence, “le Cure”, but at present it’s in an excellent position both by the point of view of tranquillity and of easiness: we all know in fact all the problems connected with traffic and parking and so on, avoidable by us thanks to the bus headline number 1b (only 50 meter far away from us), that connects home directly to the the historical centre of Florence in 10 about minutes ; besides you can walk or far (just 10 minutes by car)to Fiesole, the most known and beautiful hill around Florence.
The environs are of great landscape and cultural suggestion: romantic cypress woods and terraces, belvederes, Italian gardens, Etruscan walls, Renaissance churches and so on alternate …this is just a short description of what’s around home, but further informations and brochures both about Florence and its environs will be given at the moment.
How to get to us:
By airplane :
Arrived at Florence airport, called “Amerigo Vespucci”, you just need to take a bus or a taxi to the central railway station, where you only have to take bus number 1B (see the map) ,direction “Boccaccio”, and get out at the terminus.
By train :
From central railway station “Santa Maria Novella” you just need to take bus number 1B (see the map) direction “Boccaccio” and get out at the terminus.
By car :
From any side of toll road A1 you come (both “Firenze Nord” or “Firenze Sud”) ,you have to follow the roadsigns to the stadium; when you are in that area you will find and follow roadsigns to “piazza delle Cure” ; then you have to take via Maffei (“Maffei street”) and run along it till the end, where you will find via Cino da Pistoia 23 and our bed&bed.
