For four days London celebrated the Italian lifestyle. From 13 to 16 March 2008, the Grand Hall at Olympia was host to the Dolce Vita with Viva Italia Show, a spectacular event promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in London. Landscape Properties was once again present as sponsor of the Travel and Properties section.

The central theme of the show was to promote the best of Italy abroad: from food and wine to the most beautiful tourist destinations, from Italian culture to the main business brands, from fashion to design. But, above all, Italy is synonymous with wonderful cities, historical monuments and spas, of interest as much to those who want to spend holidays in Italy as those who hope to buy their dream home there. Through its two free guides: Holiday in Italia and Dream Homes in Italy, Landscape Properties presented the best of Italy from the north to the south, from the spectacular lakes to the welcoming island of Sicily, via the Tuscan hills and the green landscape of Umbria, not forgetting the white beaches of the Costa Smeralda.

The Landscape Properties stands were in the perfect position to receive maximum interest, located on the main visitor route just after the Piazza Italia. All visitors received a complimentary Fierain shopping bag containing our guides. Everyone greatly admired the masserie projects in Puglia and Basilicata as well as enjoying the demonstration of pietra leccese stoneworking. The three scale models of the masserie were extremely popular and eye catching.

So for four days, Italy was London’s main attraction, thanks to a show which promoted all that is great about il bel paese – its beauty, richness, style and fascination. It gave the British public the chance to live the Dolce Vita – for a short while at least!
