Lecce

Lecce. We bet you probably haven't heard of this place and that it isn't included in many top tens, but in our opinion it should be. We are at the very tip of the heel of Italy's boot in the Salento region of Puglia, and in a white city full of amazing Baroque architecture and buzzing with life. It is known as 'the Florence of the south 'which should give you some clue as to its beauty. The city is mainly built of white Leccese stone and many buildings have some of the most stunning carvings you'll ever see. A bonus is its proximity to the sea.
