Naples

Naples (Napoli) is probably one of the most famous cities in Italy and is located in the region of Campania on the coast. It is the second most populated city after Milan, with a population of just over a million inhabitants. Its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and many people believe it to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with many beautiful buildings and monuments. It is also a perfect base for visiting the beautiful islands of Ischia and Capri in the Gulf of Naples just off the coast.
