Perugia

Perugia is the Regional capital of Umbria, this hilltown is a breathtaking example of medieval architecture. One way of accessing it is to leave your car in the Piazzale Europa and then take the steps to Piazza dei Partigiani and then escalators through the Via Bagliona, the underground remains of a town complete with streets and houses to the town centre – quite an amazing experience! The town is closely connected with Umbria’s famous artist Il Perugino – Piero Vannucci.
